Crocodile Crosswalk September 29 2015, 0 Comments

This crocodile crosswalk
I never should have crossed,
It’s breathing on my feet
And it’s opening up its jaws.
I would have taken the bridge,
But its ropes were worn and frayed,
From ugly hungry rats
That were noisily nibbling away.
This crocodile crosswalk
It looked like it was safe,
But now I’m halfway cross
And it’s lookin’ like it ain’t.
This crocodile crosswalk
I thought it would be fine,
But just like worn-out ropes
It could SNAP at any time.
